Truesdell Explains No Vote for Giving $50K to Each Community

By a 2-1 vote, the Randolph County Commission recently approved giving $50,000 of American Relief Funds to each community in the county. John Truesdell cast the dissenting vote. On KWIXLand This Morning, the presiding commissioner said he’s not against giving the money to the communities, but he thought there was a better way of dispersing the funds.

Truesdell went on to explain his thinking.

Truesdell said officials from Renick and Jacksonville have met with the Commission to discuss plans for their $50,000. You can hear the full program with Truesdell by going to the KWIXLand This Morning page in the news section.
