Suspected Wellsville Corn Field Vandal In Custody

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department says they have a suspect in custody following the report of damage to a corn field outside Wellsville. Photos posted on the department’s Facebook page show what appears to be the path of an off-road vehicle through a field off Route AA, including several circles of flattened crops. The department called the damage “extensive” and estimates the damage to be around $6,000.
