Lichtenberg says the one-on-one expertise available includes finding the right cover crop for a farmer’s field.

Farmers for Soil Health is a partnership between the National Corn Growers Association, National Pork Board, and United Soybean Board, receiving financial support from USDA’s Partnerships for Climate Smart Projects.  Eligible farmers can receive $50 per acre committed to using cover crops over a three-year period.  Details about the partnership are available on the Farmers for Soil Health website.
