With the calendar now flipped to June, the listening area will be experiencing some summertime temperatures over the next several days, with temperatures reaching well into the 80’s. Meteorologist Jonathan Kurtz explains the reason for the rise in temperatures.

The warmer weather will also bring a chance for some pop up thunderstorms Wednesday and Thursday. However, the severe threat from the storms is expected to be minimal.
