SHELBYVILLE RESIDENT HURT IN MARION CO ACCIDENT

A Shelbyville man suffered moderate injuries in a two-vehicle accident in Marion County Monday. The State Highway Patrol reports around 5:30pm, 29-year-old Steven Adams of Madison was slowing his dump truck to make a right turn on Highway 36, four miles east of Monroe City. Adams was struck in the rear by a car driven by 25-year-old Daniel Pierce. Pierce was taken to Quincy, while no injuries were reported for Adams.
