Seven Missouri Seniors Claim Corn Scholarships

Five KRES Country seniors are among the honorees of this year’s Missouri Corn Scholarships. The $1,000 scholarships are awarded to high school seniors and college students in their senior year of studies pursuing a degree in agronomy or related fields. Justin Eddy of Rocheport, Emily Hoyt of Martinsburg, Caitlyn Kleffner of Rolla, Brett Montgomery of Brookfield, and Sydney Stundebeck of Salisbury plan to attend the University of Missouri this fall. Alexis Plackemeier of Silex will attend Northwest Missouri State University, while John Haines of Mexico will enroll at the State Technical College in Linn. Honorees were scored by the Missouri Corn Scholarship Committee and evaluated on essays, applications, letters of reference, current grades, and activities.
