A second arrest has been made in the September homicide of E’quan Spain in Columbia. A joint investigation by the Columbia Police Department and the U.S. Marshals has resulted in the arrest of 26-year Aaron Harris (A.K.A. Pooh Bear) of Columbia. Spain was shot and killed at around 2 pm on September 14th near 5th Street and Park Avenue. Harris has been arrested on charges of second degree murder and unlawful use of a weapon in connection with the homicide of Spain. He is currently being held in the Boone County Jail. A previous arrest was made in the case about a week after Spain’s death. Authorities then arrested 28-year old Michael L. Anderson of Columbia on charges of unlawful use of a weapon, armed criminal action, and murder all in the second degree.
