Representative McGaugh’s Election Integrity Bill Making Progress in House

Representative Peggy McGaugh’s Election Integrity Bill is making progress in the Missouri House of Representatives. House Bill 2140 is expected to be debated on the floor next week. McGaugh says it includes several provisions for election authorities.

Another provision aims to cutdown on the harassment of elected officials and election authorities.

Under the legislation the offender would face a misdemeanor for the first offense with stiffer penalties for subsequent violations.
