Representative McGaugh Receives Legislative Champion Award

Representative Peggy McGaugh of Carrollton recently received the Foundation for Government Accountability (FGA) 2022 Legislative Champion Award. The award is for her work on the passage of the election integrity bill last year. McGaugh says this bill serves as a model.
Prior to her time in Jefferson City, McGaugh served as Carroll County Clerk from 1985 to 2018. She says that past experience has served her well in the house.
McGaugh is the chair of the House Elections and Elected Officials Committee.
