Reports of New COVID-19 Cases Continue to Go Down in Macon County

The latest report from the Macon County Health Department shows another slight drop in new COVID-19 cases. The latest report shows 17 new cases of the virus over the past week, which is down two from the previous week’s total. The total number of active cases in the county sits at 23, including one hospitalization. Residents are reminded that the Macon County Health Department is offering the Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines. They also have the Pfizer booster doses available for those who are eligible.
