Randolph County Presiding Commissioner Discusses Gas Tax Increase

The state isn’t the only entity expected to benefit from the gas tax increase the general assembly approved last month. Randolph County Presiding Commissioner John Truesdell says that funding will also provide a direct benefit locally.

And then that tax is divided.

Missouri’s gas tax has not been increased since 1996. The measure lawmakers approved would increase the fuel tax by 12.5 total cents over five years.
