Plank Critical of Opening Days of Session

Democratic State Representative Adrian Plank of Columbia says the way House Speaker Dean Plocher opened this year’s session last Wednesday was entertaining, although Plank doesn’t think entertaining is what Missourians want.

Plank says it’s hard for the chamber to accomplish much positive.

Plank says on the flip side, bad legislation frequently moves too quickly.

Plank says the committees he serves on seem to operate more smoothly than the House floor.
