North Shelby Superintendent Kim Gaines Plans to Retire

At last month’s North Shelby School Board meeting, Superintendent Kim Gaines announced her plans to retire. Gaines says the decision was difficult.
Gaines has been involved in education for nearly 34 years, including the last 20 at North Shelby. Gaines notes she will not be a stranger.
The Missouri Association of Rural Education is assisting the district in hiring the next North Shelby Superintendent.
