Work is set to begin soon on the installation of new playground equipment for the Westran Elementary School. Ground is set to be broken on the site and installation will begin in August. Superintendent Mike Nagel says the new equipment will be quite an upgrade for the students.

The new equipment will replace the current playground equipment on the campus. Nagel explains the construction plans.

The playground equipment likely won’t be accessible for students until after the next school year begins.

The Westran School District is currently working to collect bids for the concrete and dirt work for the installation of the new playground equipment.
