More Cardinals Test Positive For COVID-19, Series With Tigers Postponed

The Cardinals have had 13 members test positive for COVID-19 for the past week, and as a result, their upcoming series with the Detroit Tigers has been postponed. Major League Baseball says the club will remain quarantined in Milwaukee and will continue to be tested daily. The tentative plan is for the Cardinals to resume play Friday back at Busch Stadium against the Chicago Cubs. President of Baseball Operations John Mozeliak says five of the people who tested positive are asymptomatic and eight are showing signs of either a headache, cough, sniffle, or low-grade fever. All of those who tested positive have already returned to their St. Louis homes. The rest of the team is hoping to travel back to St. Louis Wednesday morning.
