Moberly Welcomes Boonville Following Close Games Last Week

Both Moberly teams picked up close wins over Boonville in the Centralia Tournament last week and Boonville will get another chance at Moberly Thursday. The 5-1 Lady Spartans edged out a 54-52 win in the tourney semifinals. Coach Tony Vestal says Boonville continues to get better.

The Moberly boys used a hot start to boost them to a 68-60 win in the tournament’s first round. Coach Brett Boyer expects a different Boonville team.
Both teams are 4-2. Boonville coach Mark Anderson says the Pirates need to be better early.
