Moberly Police Investigating Two Robberies; Suspect Still At Large
The Moberly Police Department responded to a report of an armed robbery that occurred yesterday on the 600 block of West Coates Street. According to Moberly PD, a six-foot slender-built black male approached the car, and demanded money from the victim at gunpoint. The suspect fled on foot after a brief struggle, discharging a round into the vehicle. Moberly PD could not locate the suspect after an intensive search of the area.
This is the second of two similar robbery incidents in Moberly, the other occurring June 14th on Winsor Pl. and Fisk Ave. MPD encourages residents in the Area of W Coates St. to check surveillance video from July 1 at 10:15 pm. MPD also encourages citizens to report suspicious behavior and to consider the subject armed and dangerous.
