Moberly Man Formally Charged in DWI Death

A Moberly man has now been formally charged with DWI causing the death of another, failure to stay on the right side of the road, and driving without a valid license. 42-year-old David Brown is charged in the death of 39-year-old Joshua McNabb of St. Louis in an accident along Highway 124 in Howard County early last Saturday morning. The State Highway Patrol says Brown was driving the SUV whet he failed to navigate a corner, and it went off the road, hit a ditch and overturned. McNabb was pronounced dead at the scene. According to the probable cause statement, when a state trooper asked Brown how much he had to drink, Brown responded “Two farms, them cows.” Brown is due in court Tuesday morning.
