Moberly Hits Road to Osage in Week 2
The 1-0 Moberly Spartans travel to Osage in Week 2. Moberly comes in off a 28-7 victory over Smith-Cotton that coach Cody McDowell called a team win.
McDowell believes playing fundamentally sound football is most important.
Osage lost 40-3 to Jefferson City last week and has numerous new faces after graduating 17 from last year’s team. Coach Shannon Jolley has a sophomore quarterback in Maverick Trusty.
One returner is running back Aidan Williams, who scored once in the 43-37 loss to Moberly last season. Jolley is impressed with this year’s Spartan team.
