Moberly Beginning Process to Mitigate Odor at Rollins Street Sewer Lagoon

The Moberly City Council is planning how to mitigate the odor coming from the Rollins Street Sewer Lagoon. The city recently received its second violation notice from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources for the odor coming from the facility. Interim City Manager Randall Thompson says it will be a lengthy process to mitigate the smell.

One of the first steps will be to find a contractor.

City officials hope to have the smell eliminated by April.
