Moberly Announces Interim Fire Chief

The City of Moberly has announced that Captain Jerry Washam will be serving as the Interim Fire Chief, and the Moberly Emergency Manager, upon Chief George Albert’s retirement. Captain Washam has been with the Moberly Fire Department for 30 years and is excited to have been given this opportunity. Captain Washam starts the duties of Interim Fire Chief on Saturday Captain Washam is a lifelong resident of Moberly community. Albert is retiring after four years as Moberly chief, and almost 40 as a firefighter.
