Missouri Soy Pursues Market Opportunities for Soyleic Seed

An increasing number of farmers across the country are adding soybeans to their rotation that include traits which produce high-oleic oil.  Bryan Stobaugh, licensing director for the Missouri Soybean Merchandising Council, says one selling point about their patented trait is that the beans are not genetically modified.

Stobaugh says partners like Benson Hill are critical to effectively marketing Soyleic beans while protecting the financial investment of Missouri producers.

Licensing Director Bryan Stobaugh notes that the Missouri Soybean Merchandising Council maintains a website for farmers and vendors who may be interested in growing or distributing soybeans with the high-oleic trait.
