Meadville Lady Eagles Return Key Pieces, Set Their Sights On State Title Repeat

The Meadville Lady Eagles bring championship expectations back from a 31-0 season that resulted in a Class 1 State Championship. Coach Steve Carvajal reflects on last year’s state semifinal in Springfield.

Meadville defeated Chadwick 39-28 in the state title game. Korrie Holcer, Paige Carvajal and Madison Carvajal led the team in points that game. The three All-State players return to the floor this season.

Carvajal expects his team to perform on a similar level.

Meadville begins the regular season on the road against Glasgow. Carvajal expects an improved Tri-County conference this season.
