Marshall Man Dies From Injuries in Motorcycle Accident

A Marshall man has died from injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident in Saline County Friday night. The State Highway Patrol says 47-year-old Phillip Hill was injured on Route M, just north of 340th Trail north of Gilliam around 9:45, when he failed to negotiate a curve. His motorcycle went down a grass embankment, became airborne, threw him, and hit the ground and a tree. Hill was flown to Columbia with serious injuries. He died around 11:30 Saturday morning.
