Marceline Trail Derailment

Marceline Police report part of a train derailed Thursday night, north of Marceline to the city limits. There were no reported injuries, but the crossings at Santa Fe Street, Hauser Street, Broadway Avenue east of Highway 5 at the overhead bridge, and several crossings north of the city limits are closed until further notice. Residents are advised to avoid the scene completely and plan your trips to avoid closed crossings.
