MACC TEAMS NOW BOTH 2-0

Both MACC basketball teams improved to 2-0 on the season, as the Lady Hounds beat Rend Lake of Illinois 79-55, and the Greyhounds beat Marshalltown of Iowa 101-67. The Lady Hounds were down 11 in the first half before coming back and taking the lead for good early in the second half. DeAnna Wilson finished with a game-high 26 points and unoffically added 20 rebounds.

The men had six players in double-digits, led by Eddie Creal with 18, and Markelo Sullivan and Tyrek Chambers each had 16.
Coach Pat Smith thought his team played really well.
