MACC Receives Mechatronics Grant

Moberly Area Community College recently received a $7,000 grant from Quaker Oats for its mechatronics program in Columbia. MACC President Dr. Jeff Lashley says the college has a good working relationship with the Columbia plant.

Lashley says mechatronics can be as important to food production as it is to high-tech products.

The grant money will be used to partially fund a faculty position.
