Livestock Experts To Converge On Kirksville December 3rd

One of Missouri’s largest one-day gathering of experts in livestock and farm management will again take place in Kirksville next weekend. The Missouri Livestock Symposium will feature eight tracks of topics December 3rd, ranging from sheep and goats to farm dogs and horticulture. Symposium vice-chair Zac Erwin, a livestock specialist with University of Missouri Extension, says he’s looking forward to discussions focused on cattle.

Erwin also previews speakers in the additional tracks.

The Missouri Livestock Symposium at the William Matthew Middle School in Kirksville begins Friday, December 2nd with the trade show, beef supper and opening program featuring keynote speaker Diana Rodgers. Learning sessions take place Saturday, December 3rd, along with a governor’s style buffet. All sessions and meals are free.
