Laclede Man Injured in Chariton County Accident

A Laclede man suffered moderate injuries in an accident on Highway 139 about three miles east of Sumner around 12:30 Saturday afternoon. The State Highway Patrol says 64-year-old Buddy McCune’s pickup went off the left side of the road and hit a fuel barrel. He was taken to Brookfield.
