Kirksville Airport to Receive Federal Funding for Upgrades

As we reported last week, the Kirksville Regional Airport will receive federal money through the Airport Improvement Program to rehabilitate both a runway and a taxiway. Glenn Balliew is the Airport Manager and Public Works Director in Kirksville.

Balliew says the airport is a major asset for the entire region.

Congressman Sam Graves made the announcement last week about the 3.3 million dollars in federal funding for the projects.
