Homicide Investigation Underway in Columbia

Columbia Police are investigating a homicide that took place early Saturday morning in the 1800 block of McKee Street. Officers responded to the scene shortly after 12:30 am and located three gunshot victims. A teenage girl was located inside the residence and officers provided emergency medical care. She was transported to a local hospital where she was later pronounced dead. A boy and an adult male were also injured. The boy was transported to a local hospital in a personal vehicle for treatment while the man refused medical treatment at the scene. The investigation into the fatal shooting is ongoing.
