Hallsville-South Shelby Series Continues Friday Night

For the second season in a row Hallsville and South Shelby will compete in a Friday night varsity doubleheader. The Ladybirds got the best of the Lady Indians last year in a 56-21 result. South Shelby coach Luke O’Laughlin.

Junior Callie McWilliams leads the 2-0 Ladybirds in scoring, averaging 26 points per game. The Lady Indians graduated five seniors from last year’s squad, including KRES All-Star Kristen Jones. Hallsville enters the contest also at 2-0. Coach Matt Heet says South Shelby does multiple things well.

The nightcap pits the 2-0 Indians against the 0-2 Cardinals. The boys side for Hallsville also graduated a KRES All-Star in Kolton Garner. Coach Brandon Crites.
