Green City R-1 Hires New Principal

Green City R-1 has hired Alice Heidenwith as elementary principal for the upcoming school year. Superintendent Tennille Banner says seven individuals applied for the position and four were interviewed.
Heidenwith began her teaching career in 2000. She then went on to earn her Master of Education in Elementary Administration from William Woods in 2010. Banner feels her experience brings a lot to the district.
She will officially begin her duties as elementary principal in July.
