Garlock Set to Take Over Macon Girls Basketball Team

Following the resignation of Richard Driscoll in August, Natalie Garlock has been named the new Macon head girls’ basketball coach. Garlock is a 2012 graduate of Kirksville High School. She has coached the Macon Middle School girls’ basketball and track programs since the 2021-22 school year. Garlock describes her basketball coaching style.

The Tigerettes had limited preseason preparation under Garlock given she was just hired earlier this month.

Garlock adds this creates extra importance on the upcoming preseason practices.

Prior to arriving at Macon, Garlock served as an assistant coach for Kirksville High School girls’ basketball and volleyball teams from 2016 to 2021. She takes over a Macon squad that went 20-8 a season ago.
