Five Mexico residents were arrested following a narcotics search warrant. The Audrain County Sheriff’s Office reports responding to a motel in the 4200 block of South Clark Street in Mexico just before 10:30am Friday for the report of a wanted fugitive occupying a room. Officers discovered the fugitive, 24-year-old Robert Allen Meek, who was wanted on a felony parole violation. Four others were taken into custody after Meek was found in possession of methamphetamine and officers observed drug paraphernalia in plain view within the motel room. Meek, 31-year-old Loren Meek, 22-year-old Rhaionna Coalwell, 25-year-old Nickolus Robinson and 26-year-old Troy Burgeson were all arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Robinson was also charged for unlawful use of a weapon. The Audrain County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the East Central Drug Task Force.
