University of Missouri Extension has cancelled all their in-person workshops until May 15th, meaning most of them are moving online. That also opens up opportunities for producers to hear from Extension experts in different parts of the state. Patrick Davis is a livestock nutrition specialist based in Southwest Missouri’s Cedar County who has two workshops coming up in the next month, both of which will use the Zoom video conferencing platform.

Davis says while workshops including his three-night hay production class beginning March 31st will feature speakers from his region, anyone in the state can register.

University of Missouri Extension livestock specialist Patrick Davis says the hay workshop will also meet April 2nd and April 7th. A sheep and goat workshop is also set for April 9th. The cost for each workshop is 20 dollars. We’ve linked to the signup and additional details with this story on our website, or you can e-mail Davis<[email protected]>.
