Education Chair Watching How Schools are Planning for August Open

The chair of the Senate Education Committee is keeping a close eye on schools throughout her district and the state, to see how they plan to handle classes beginning next month. Senator Cindy O’Laughlin is hearing a common theme.

The Shelbina Republican says this is a decision that does not need to be made by the state.

Last week it was announced that around 55 million dollars in federal CARES Act funding is going to Missouri schools.
