Education an Early Focus for House Budget Committee

The Missouri House Budget Committee has begun work on the state’s preliminary budget for Fiscal Year 2024. Representative Tim Taylor of Bunceton explains the early focus.

Taylor is a first-year member of the budget committee. He says just exploring the education portion of the budget has been an eye-opening experience.

The expected highlight for the education budget will be fully and permanently funding the public school transportation formula.
