Edina Looking to Amend Ordinance to Prevent Tampering With Water Meters

The Edina City Council is looking to amend an ordinance that addresses fines for tampering with city water meters. City Clerk Margaret Gibson says this comes following a recent incident.

The city council intends to amend the ordinance at an upcoming meeting. Gibson explains the need for the change.

Also during this month’s meeting, Edina Superintendent of Utilities Joe Dimmitt announced his departure from the position at the end of the month.
