Community Girls Land Top Spot in Latest Class 1 MBCA Poll
The Community Lady Trojans are the top ranked team in Class 1 according to the latest Missouri Basketball Coaches Association Poll. Community surpassed Walnut Grove after their Sturgeon tournament victory against now seventh ranked South Callaway in Class 3. In Class 1, the Green City girls are fourth, and the Cairo boys are fifth. In Class 2 boys, Van-Far is sixth, New Franklin is back in the top ten at seven, and Milan is now eighth. Slater is also getting votes. In Class 3 boys, Father Tolton is second, Monroe City is sixth, and Palmyra is eighth. On the girls side, Palmyra remains fourth, and Southern Boone is ninth. In Class 4, the Boonville girls are tenth. In Class 5, the Rock Bridge girls are second and Jefferson City is third.
