Clark Woman Killed in Boone County Crash

A Clark woman was killed in a Boone County accident around 11:30 Thursday morning. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports an SUV driven by 88-year-old Betty Smith of Clark attempted to cross the southbound lanes of Highway 63 at Route CC and struck a semi driven by 39-year-old Wesley Odden of Gamma in the driving lane. Smith’s vehicle came to rest in the median and Odden traveled off the west side of the roadway. Smith was pronounced dead at a Columbia hospital and Odden suffered minor injuries.
