Clarence Cannon Powers Meet When Macon Visits South Shelby

An important Clarence Cannon Conference game is on tap tonight when 6-0 Macon visits 5-1 South Shelby. At 4-0 in the Clarence Cannon, Macon is tied for first with Monroe City, one game in front of the Cardinals. Macon hits the toughest part of the schedule, with their final three opponents currently a combined 16-2 on the season. Coach Van Vanatta says this a pivotal moment in his team’s season.

Macon is coming off a 53-20 homecoming win over Brookfield. The Tiger defense is allowing just twelve points a game. Vanatta says they’ll have a challenge in slowing down South Shelby’s offense.

Macon has won the last nine meetings against the Cardinals. South Shelby Coach Adam Gunterman says it should be an even matchup.

It’s also Senior Night for South Shelby.

Colin Schowe and J.B. Connoley will have the broadcast on Superstation KRES and centralmoinfo.com. Brad Boyer will have Endzone after the game.
