Chrisman Resigns From K-REDI and MREIC

Kirksville Regional Economic Development, Incorporated, and the Missouri Rural Enterprise and Innovation Center announced Wednesday the Executive Director Carolyn Chrisman has resigned, effective July 7th. Chrisman has been with the two organizations since 2012 and 2015 respectively. With K-REDI, she oversaw two expansion projects, Kraft Heinz and Western’s Smokehouse, helped bring the Cooperative Response Center to Kirksville and assisted with several workforce programs. With the MREIC, the Square 1 Incubator and Co-Working Space was completed, she oversaw the cooperation with the Small Business Development Center, and the Center on Rural Innovation program. She will remain in the community to pursue private interests.
