Centralia Welcomes Monroe City For Senior Night – #6 MC Boys Boast 20-2 Record

The Centralia basketball teams host Monroe City in a Clarence Cannon Conference doubleheader Friday on KRES and centralmoinfo.com. Both schools also share a district, which the coaches will seed Saturday.

The sixth-ranked Monroe City boys improved to 20-2 with a 62-59 win versus Palmyra Tuesday. Head coach Brock Edris outlines the keys opposite Centralia’s length and shooting ability.

Monroe City enters 4-0 in the CCC. The two Panther squads played for a district championship in Centralia’s gym last year. Centralia assistant coach Chad Thall says the Panthers embrace another challenge against Monroe City.
