Busick Supports Changing Highways Commission

A bill filed in the Missouri House would expand the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission from six members to eight, with one from each Congressional disrict. The bill was referred to the Transportation Accountability Committee last week. Representative Danny Busick of Newtown is on that committee. He says it should mean better representation for the area.

Busick says northern Missouri needs more attention.

If approved, the changes would take effect January First. The bill was filed by Representative Louis Riggs.
