Brookfield Teen Injured in Chariton County Accident

A Brookfield teen suffered moderate injuries when her car sideswiped a pickup on Highway 139, about four miles north of Sumner, around 2:50pm Monday. The State Highway Patrol says the 16-year-old girl was taken to Brookfield. The pickup driver, 52-year-old Scott Allen of St. Catharine, was not injured.
