Centralia’s Jayci Shelton capped off a perfect 42-0 freshman season by defeating returning state champion Justice Brewer of Cameron.
Southern’s Boone’s Callie Bergthold became a two-timer by beating another returning champion in Cassidy Benwell of Holt 3-2. Bergthold picked up the decisive escape for the win in the closing seconds.
