Atlanta Man Hurt in Shelby County Accident

An Atlanta man suffered moderate injuries in a Shelby County accident Monday afternoon. The State Highway Patrol says 39-year-old Anthony Allen turned his car into the path of a truck on Shelby County Road 302, a half mile west of Clarence, around 5:45. The two vehicles struck head on. Allen was taken to Kirksville. The truck driver, 48-year-old Thomas Poor of Smithville, was not hurt.
