Speaking last week in Osage County, Chinn said that the state’s drought task force began meeting again, issuing several recommendations that Governor Mike Parson recently announced.

Missouri Department of Agriculture Director Chris Chinn noted that several dairy producers could turn toward silage from drought-stricken crops, but added that crop producers would also need help to overcome drought conditions.
