Annual Slater Turkey Giveaway Next Month

The annual Slater Chamber of Commerce Turkey Giveaway will be November 20th at 6 pm on Main Street. About 60 turkeys will be given away. City Clerk Russell Griffith says there’s one requirement to participate.
Griffith adds the format of the drawing will be the same as in the past.
Along with the turkey giveaway, there will also be the ceremonial lighting of the Main Street Christmas lights.
